I second the "five elements" idea.
Or, it would be kind of cool to have a "Perspectives" showcase where you can make a picture of anything from an unusual perspective - upside down, from above, from the point of view of a child or someone from another culture, etc.

Also, I would enjoy a "Science" theme. This could include people doing science but also beautiful parts of the universe - space, nature, etc - from a scientific perspective

I must admit when I first saw the topic for the showcase 'BLUE' I had my reservations, but it has turned out to be loads of fun, you can use the color blue in virtually anything, you can use different shades warmer or cooler, layer the colors for effect, lighting and shading on surfaces, it goes on like Brunnhilde has said individual colors are a good choice and test of ability and imagination.

how about a golden showcase? I think it would be fascinating. Ever since we have the beads theme, the posibilities have become more and more challenging.

Thanks ThinkDraw, the blue showcase was fantastic.
I like Shanley's suggestion of 'gold'. There's hidden gold elsewhere ... even in animals.
