Matthew - yes, it's clearly deliberate, mean-spirited (tho I'd bet a jelly-filled donut that the person feels self-righteous to the point of gleeful), and bloody unfair.

All - I'm thinkin' there needs to be tolerance both ways for this to work as a viable community.

Those that enjoy just relaxing with it -- their work, both their spontaneous drawings and their often spirit-lifting commentary, is valuable... hugely!

Those who use this as a kind of artists' workshop -- their input, both the work itself and their serious approach, should NOT be disdained either.

Would you really want none of the serious ones to stick around? Or only if they agree to stop being serious here?

That's what many of you are not getting, we can't see it differently because it is what it is there is. It isn't that we aren't hearing you it is the other way around.

Dont stop drawing...as i said, it is purely out of jelousy that people have the nerve to vote you down..they dont want others seeing how great your pictures are compared to theirs, you KNOW they all love your work...who couldn't??? ...DONT let them win....and dont let it put you down....i know how disheratening it is to see one of your time-consuming works falling into the depths of the highest rated gallery... and yes i miss palmasbob...he stopped drawing just after i signed up and i never got to see too many created while i was here. What I'm trying to say is: try seeing the situation from a different perspective...
