One-voting is NOT the problem.

Over-voting is the problem.

KM. You don't have to go to the library to do it.

There are no restrictions on you giving yourself as many votes from as many ID's as you like.

I finally understand how my best work can garner only 30 votes while other's can get a hundred.

I most certainly did cheat on TD.

But I'll say it again - I cheated to re-arrange my own page (or at least try). Someone noticed a six-vot jump in my piece "Organic" without an increase in the comment count.

I realized I'd been found out and have begged forgiveness ever since.

But learning to cheat has shown me how other's do it.

The whole one-vote thing can be devastating.

But a hundred votes... ALL of them 5's. That art form belongs to true meglomaniacs only.

Which is worse: Harm to others or self-inflated BS. In the end - I think it's the latter.

The prrof is always in the pudding (and the IP address).

...Master of the over exageration... There are no pics with hundreds of votes of 5's... There are only 16 pics of the nearly 40,000 pics with with more than 50 votes... None of those 16 pics (AGAIN 16 OF 40,000) have a 5 rating... Every one of them have been attact...

As far as I am concerned this voting thing should be gone. Adults have become too childish about it. Did you forget why we are here? Fun and creativity. My drawing here is my best I can do with what I have, and yes alot of people here are good. And thats their best. So who deserves the 5? Maybe the kids on TD, and thats it. It is unfair. Myself, care for the comments only. And like Ron said... Lay off KM. Since I've been here, she has been kind and friendly! Her work, I look forward to seeing everyday. I had someone question a few comments on a pic a few days ago. And why they were thanking me. Its really none of her business. If someone gives me a one ... so be it! I don't challange them, or tell them they are mean. We are all here to draw, and lets keep it that way.

I didn't lay into KM, I said people cared but she didn't see it. Lilalee, I asked why she was thanking you because I was trying to understand what the picture and conversation was about, I was not trying to be nosey. I then noticed you named it after a person that posted to the thread and saw what the drawing was about. I am not good at remembering names so I didn't realize it was a user's name. The mean comment was because I thought it was a senior TD voting me down and was surprised to find out it was a new person. I said I was sorry am I am, we all make mistakes. It was my 5th or 6th vote down in the last 2 days it got me down.
