PLEASE Can anyone explain to me how you use colors and shapes that I cannot even find?
How can someone draw a perfect square or use the color beige or apple green when there are no such colors and shapes in THINK DRAW?
I ENVY YOU ALL GUYS!!!!! GREAT ARTISTS!!!! Someone mentiones the GOTHIC SITE. Where is it?

Drawing shapes that are not there....

Lets take my picture...Fire Eyes...

To get the eye like shape I over lapped a lot of yellow flower petals making sure that each petal's edge lined up to create a smooth edge.

To make the blue smoke and red in the eyes, I used layers by placing the color I wished to show up behind the cover up layer.
(I use this with letters a lot)

To manipulate shades...
it all depends on the medium...

However each shape in most mediums have different shades within them so if you overlap really closely you will be able to get a different shade...

And if you place something dark to something really light the contrast between the two makes them look more dark and light respectively.

On right hand side of the 'Draw' screen, there is a menu of 6 different themes: FLOWERS; FRUIT; FACES; GOTHIC; CANDY; ANIMALS. If you click on Gothic, you will find that you now have a different palette. I can see from your drawings that you have already discovered that you can change the size and shape of objects / colours in your palette. You can't switch between palettes to make a drawing. For instance, if you are making a drswing with 'animals', all of the picture has to be done in that palette.

With Soda's explanation of how to change colours by overlapping pieces, you can play around to get different effects. Good luck, polenta, and have fun.
