On mine, the themes are on the left side of the draw screen.

Depending on your screen resolution, You may not see the links Login is talking about... Go to http://www.thinkdraw.com/about.php & the links are all there...

By the way, in this context, 'medium' and 'palette' are the same thing.

On right hand side of the 'Draw' screen, there is a menu of 6 different themes: FLOWERS; FRUIT; FACES; GOTHIC; CANDY; ANIMALS. If you click on Gothic, you will find that you now have a different palette. I can see from your drawings that you have already discovered that you can change the size and shape of objects / colours in your palette. You can't switch between palettes to make a drawing. For instance, if you are making a drswing with 'animals', all of the picture has to be done in that palette.

With Soda's explanation of how to change colours by overlapping pieces, you can play around to get different effects. Good luck, polenta, and have fun.
