I agree. Your Andy and my Bob Marley were at the top for animals, and kept swapping places, and your kiss and my Romeo and Juliet were on the top line of the showcase. I was gone for an hour and they were all gone....bummer...

Luna and likemee - I've read your comment regarding getting slammed. I am quite upset about because you both are deserving of your high scores and I would go to end to defend it! I admire BOTH of your work greatly and have a lot of respect for it. I personally don't keep track of averages on my work so I don't know if it's happened to me. Probably not because my work doesn't come near the quality of yours. I'm speaking from my heart on this issue and something needs to be doneJust looking at what you causes appreciation of your work. Thanks kmkagle. I really appreciate your kind words. It shouldnt even matter, but it does. I've got other stresses, and this has been kind of a refuge. Of course you are a drawing colleague. You do some lovely work.

Luna - It certainly does matter when you put your heart and soul into something and someone out of jealousy or spite does this. I felt and still feel badly for some of you who have exemplary work. I hate dishonesty. This is really a form of stealing. I have a few idea of who, but, can't say, can't prove. They'll show themselve eventually. I wanted to tell you too, I'm trying to go through the pictures and type a little heartfelt note, only if it's deserved and I only vote 5's. Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad I'm getting to know you and sorry for all this injustice. Too, sometimes those little words of encouragement or flattery mean the world to a person who might just need that little pat on the back that makes them feel a little better about themselves. I see pain in drawings, they say you reflect when you do artwork. Thanks, now I'll let you go.

It's hard to brlieve someone is so vindictive to underrate your great art. The time and effort you all put into your creations is staggering. I cannot imagine spending 5 hours on a picture, but then my drawings show that. However , Im would never do something as low as giving anyone of you a low score so mine would fare better. I just have to be care and not sin. I tend to covet your combine talents. I love to draw (doodle) but the right side of my brain is numb.

So here's my question, If I don't vote at all on a drawing I've viewed does that negatively effect the rating?

I often will view and not vote. I hope I’m not causing trouble.

I just don’t like to give 5 stars to a lesser drawing only so a newer drawer doesn’t feel bad and I don’t want to give the same 5 stars to a drawing that is so far better than that newer or even just less talented persons drawing.

I don't think the 'no vote' harms a drawings ratings, solosater. That's my reason for being totally in favour of the 'vote/no vote' idea. I've already adopted the strategy. If I like it I vote 5 (99% of the time) and if I don't like it I don't vote.

I believe some (as I mentioned earlier) people are not who they say they are! I believe I know who it is. They are giving themselves away and don't even realize it. If a person has to become someone else to make themselves feel better, that's sick!

This whole mess is difficult because you can't point fingers, you just wait, they will "hang" themselves. Thieves and liars eventually trip themselves up!

P.S. If this person's work was anygood they wouldn't have to do this "stealing", their work would speak for itself. In other words, they have lousy work to begin with!

Km, lol because you said their work is no good. I think the person I have in mind wants top place and no one else to get it ever. The person I have in mind is laying low and didn't even summit anything lately. When someone said they didn't hit their own work with low marks, I went back to their page and all their work now had low marks when they didn't before this. If the person you have in mind, you are not sure about, then you most likely don't have the right person in mind.

DMarla, I don't care, I was on here for enjoyment not ratings. I wish I had someone to talk to regarding my feelings. I'm so big on integrity, and I actually hate liars and thieves. I'm upset with some other issue here. I don't say things unless I have a good reason. I have reason to think I know who it is. Trust me, they're going to trip themselves up, they've already started to. What do you think?
