Is anyone else finding this new quirk?
In all the time I've been on ThinkDraw I've never had to sign in. I come and go, shut off the computer, turn it back on and ThinkDraw has always kept me logged in.
This afternoon suddenly that is no longer true.
I opened up ThinkDraw and was not logged in.
So I entered my password, and all was good.
Until I left the site, then I was logged out again.
Very curious. We've not done anything weird to our computer today, no maintenance or change of operating system.

Any clues?

It's behaving like we deleted our cookies.
However even if the cookie was deleted (which it wasn't) it should have reinstalled when I logged back onto this site.
Very odd.
We subscribe to AOL, the problem might be with them.

What is even more odd is that I use my back arrow to return to the gallery page I will be logged out once more

Odder and odderer.
I just went to a site that my partner also uses and I was logged on already, under his name.
This is definitely an AOL issue then. My email is my own but otherwise AOL has me mixed up with Robert

Baldur, I had the same problem, but didn't investigate it as far as you did. I am also on aol so I bet you're right about it being aol. As far as cookies, I don't even know what you're talking about. Unless it's snickerdoodles!

Cookies are little bundles of information that websites transfer over to your computer that create a minor link between you and them.
They are one of the things that allow you to be recognized and maintain a screen name and password to gain access to their features.
I also suspect they have economic uses in tracking demographics etc.

You can delete them, but if you visit the site again they automatically reinstall

Well, I did leave the site, but did not log offline just now, and I was still logged on when I returned. I wonder what happens if I log off aol alltogether? I just realized it is doing the same thing with my facebook account, too, but i think it's only when i log all the way out of AOL.

so, left AOL and opened under internet explorer instead, and I'm still logged on. Now lets see what happens if I go back to aol...

Back on AOL and I am still logged in this time. Hmmmm. has it miraculously been fixed now? Strong work, Sir Baldur! LOL

My accounts acting normally, matthew, but I don't use AOL. I did see what I've been reading about though. Someone has gone and given 1 star votes to some very great pieces that were submitted today. That's such a shame! Someone is either jealous and malicious, or thinks 1 star is the top score. I think it easier to believe someone is vindictive rather than illinformed. It would be nice to expose whoever is responsible for this. Any ideas?

Coincidentally, I cleared out browsing history and cookies today, so I was logged out of TD. I'm not with AOL

I've checked it out and I'm not being logged out now when I disconnect. It does seem to be something to do with AOL.

Goodnight Robin ... I'm off to slumberland myself ... too many late nights. Good night all.

Peasy, we've battled this problem for months, there is no good solution.
We may get a period with no low-voting, but then it returns with a vengeance.

Baldur, I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I'm not on AOL. I wrote to Rachel and she fixed it. She said the login had been corrupted. I could not go from on page to another without being logged out.

Peasy: The OVB has been an ongoing issue for forever. The only solution is for Rachel to reveal the names of the One Voter or One Voters just the way your name appears if you put a pik as one of your "favorites". Rachel??? Rachel are you listening? But make it a "surprise" where it is retroactive for the previous month and bring it out at the same time as the TOP5 is announced. Off to bed I go. Goodnight.

I find if I forget to log out when I'm done then I'm still logged in when I come back on the same computer. I almost alway log out when I'm done though, so I almost always have to log in again when I come back. Just a habit I got into, it made sense when I used the site a lot at work where everybody has access to the same computers.

Doug, I agree with you. We should be able to publicly shame whoever it is responsible for the low votes. Is there a way we can ask Rachael(?) . The artwork I noticed yesterday that was low voted definately didn't deserve it. Whoever is doing it should have to pay some sort of consequence, in my opinion.
