You're probably wondering what this challenge is about...Well, lately, I have seen a great number of brilliant pics aiming to set new boundaries by exploring different art movements. Be it classicism, romaticism, fauvism, surrealism, impressionism, these works definetely have a great advantage: they follow a path already taken. There are concepts carefully thought of by many people who made a difference. So here's my idea: try developing something that would fit as accurately as possible in one specific art movement. My advice would be to do some research on the art movement first so that you can come up with a new work, but copies of famous paintigs (and drawings, advertisment, posters, etc.!) are welcome too. I'll be checking the forum as often as`I can and try bringing some useful infomation and/or examples. Have fun! |

Well...I assumed it would last a week...as usual...but if people will take interest in it and will agree to give it on extra-time, I surely wouldn't mind! |

In order to win the challenge, yes. Firstly, because the fun in a challenge is to get participants thinking about it again and secondly (this i have to admit), it's always a pleasure to see TD's grand masters at work and to contemplate the result. |

This is an old pic, but I think it could be fit as "expressionism", a sort of George Grosz style? |
