Not all prayers are answered or even listened to. Depends on who is praying. I personally don't believe that a rightious God need be goaded into showing compassion. A rightious God sees the need, feels coompassion, and is moved to render assistance.

It isn't the nature of the prayer that causes the rejection. It is the person himself that causes it.
Isaiah 1:15
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide my eyes from you; even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood;
John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will.

Assuming you are Christian, do you read the Bible?
Psalm 5:3
"My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up."
1John 3:22
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."
Please note that last part.

James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
PLease notice the last part.

The statements I have made are backed by scripture. So your conclusions are false.
John 9:31
The Pharisees attempt to discredit Jesus when He heals the man born blind. npt cpme under the categry f malicius lies. Neither have I at any time denied the healing pewer.
1 John 3:22
John addresses an early form of Gnosticism. Love and righteousness are an ethical test of Sonship meant to expose the false teachers'

I see absolutely no relevance here since I don't deny his healing power.
Isaiah 1:15
God hides His eyes from Israel for breaking the Covenant.
But as I clearly pointed out, in the NT, God still requires us to behave ourselves. Otherwise he will not listen to our prayers. We cannot, or better yet, should never attempt to write our own Bible. We should humbly accept it as ito is written. If indeed we disagree with its message then we should seek another religion that uses a holy book we do agree with

Yes Radrook, I am a Christ follower. I read my Bible and pray daily according to Luke 11: 1-13.
Reply:
But you do not agree with its prayer requirements. Strange!

Proverbs 15:8 The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.
King James 2000 Bible (©2003)
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
Please read the excerpt below:
Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible
The Lord is far from the wicked,.... Not as to his essence or powerful presence, which is everywhere, for he is God omnipresent; but with respect to his favour and good will, he is far from helping in distress, and from hearing their cries when they apply unto him in desperate circumstances; nor does he admit them to nearness and communion with him now, as he does the righteous; nor will he receive them to himself at the last day, but bid them depart from him; they are far from him and from his law, and from all righteousness; and he is far from them, and keeps them at a distance from him;
but he heareth the prayer of the righteous; they draw nigh to him, and he draws nigh to them; he is nigh to all that call upon him in truth; and there is none like them that has God so nigh them as they have; his eyes are upon them, and his ears are open to their cries; he is a God hearing and answering their prayers, and bestows upon them the favours they ask for, and stand in need of.
