Please note that when you load a draft picture it is deleted.

If you would like to keep the draft after loading it you must remember to save it again.

It is no longer possible to open several windows and load your draft picture into each of them. Similarly, the draft can no longer be opened in a different theme to the one it was made in.

Sigh... What is the reasoning for taking that away???

So....how do I save it a second time? It can be loaded and saved at the same time?

I am really a techno newby.

When you open it you have to add at least one piece, then you can save it again. You can remove the piece when you re-open it if you want to.

Thanks, Luna.

Once it is submitted to the group I see no way to get it back to save it again??? Am I missing something?

Sooo... we can't save a partial to use in several ways as comparison pieces in a series?

...We used to be able to save a pic we submited....

...Rachel has taken that away from us...

...I can't imagine why... It made doing series SOOOOO much less time consuming...

...I am hopeful that she had a bad hair day & will allow us to have that ability back...

I hate to say this... but... like Matthew I don't understand the reasoning for removing this "feature".

The "confusion" it might cause?

Pffff... We live in confusion... the way through it is to.. er.. practice Thinking --
isn't that kind of the prime directive here?

Um, Rachel?

...what could we do or say that would make you comfortable changing it back again?

Perhaps if I limit my Jesus pics to under 5 at a time???

FYI: That is a joke

The Save Draft should have worked like this originally. It is designed to allow someone to save a picture and continue working on it at a later stage.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused in fixing the bug.

Be careful, Everyone! If you're just looking through the categories to remind yourself what you have in progress ... if you look and don't save, it's gone!

Rachel, could we get a reminder on screen to save our work when we're leaving a page?

Some bugs turn out to be valuable features.

14. 20 Feb 2009 05:10

matthew

Maybe if we do a "BUGS" showcase she will give us our bug back...

...LOL --now THAT's funny!

hey, matthew... how 'bout accidental discoveries -- serendipities?

velcro, superglue, teflon, microwaves, x-rays, penicillin...

...aaannnddd-- VIRTUAL MEMORY!!!

(y'know, kiddies, Intel actually fought to keep it out of every chip from the 80286 thru the 80386 and 486 'til they finally accepted it more or less wholly in the 586...)

there is a new danger in the save draft...i just lost something i was working on for a couple of days to a message " your draft could not be loaded, sorry" and a box "ok" to click on.... oh well off to draw with a pencil=(

17. 24 Feb 2009 07:49

pollyesther

ok drawing with a pencil is not much fun after playing with TD i suppose i overreacted hehe
has anyone else had this happen to them or am i the only one?

OneVoteBandit

ok, lets say you load your save draft & for some reason decide you did not want to add to it or you do add to it but are not happy. In the past, you could just leave & your save draft still existed. Now you MUST save it before leaving NO MATTER WHAT.
Be careful. There should be an "are you sure you want to leave without saving reminder.
OMG! the one vote bandit gives advice? I am getting soft.

i did everything very carefully...made sure i saved before i left that is why i was able to press the "load draft" button and get the message "your draft could not be loaded, sorry" and an "ok" box to click. after that it was just gone. and OVB im starting to get ideas about who you may be by the way you talk

...I had the same thing happen on one of my pics...

...I tried loading it just after signing on, but got the message Pollyesther spoke of...

...There was nothing I could do...

...It was just gone...

...They took away our happy bug & left us with this one instead...

...Sigh...
