Dragons are common in folklore. Elemental dragons represent the elements, as well as the disasters they can cause. (The elements of this challenge are fire and earth, you have to think of the natural disasters.) try to make it obvious what element\disaster the dragon represents.

This dragon is, (as suggested by title) a dragon of fire. I know, I can't resist my own challenge!

Well the problem is that there is already a substantial forum based on Dragons started by myself, but I would love it if you wished to add any comments or pictures and ideas within that thread. Your idea on elemental Dragons is based on Chinese Mythology and has been touched upon but it would be really good if you could add those to my forum thread on Dragons and become involved in that way...sort of combine ideas!

Dragon

I know you called for fire and earth dragons but I thought I'd throw in this Water Dragon, it's an old one of mine.

As for how to run a challenge biddaphun, generally you choose a topic and explain it (as you've done). Then you pick an end date, usually a week or 2, which is the cut off for people to get their submissions in before you choose your favorite pic out of the batch and pass the baton for the next challenge to that artist. People will usually want to know if you'd only like new pics or if you'll consider old ones as well. Most folks running a challenge will welcome old pictures but will only consider new ones to actually win. That's totally up to you though as the current Challenger.
