puzzler

So, here is your chance to share your rash promises with the TD community!
Time to turn over a new leaf?
Go ahead and tell us all how you want to improve upon last year.
Mine? Well apart from trying to spend less time on TD, I'm practically perfect!

Ok puzzler, I aim to be neater this year. By that, I mean I'll do a little clutter-busting each day and get my house into a zen-like state. This would be heavenly to me!

What a grand idea ! Can you possibly extend your resolution, sheftali, and do some butter-clusting at my house, too ?

OK, here goes..

I RESOLVE :

1) not to taunt the neighbour's cat

2) to donate a UPS to Radio Baldur, along with a mute button for when things get too out of hand (UPS : uninterrupted power supply)

3) not to roll around on the floor laughing at puzzler's comments

4) to study great artists like Qsilv and try and learn from them, rather than staying up all night drinking coffee and doodling

5) to ignore all my resolutions by the 3rd of January, as I always do !

Only 6% keep New Years Resolutions, & I am SO in the 94% that don't that I don't bother anymore. However, would LOVE to know sheftalis ideas on clutter-busting! & marg, I think you should keep the rolling on the floor laughing. I know I enjoy that activity!

ahh... there's one more, and since it's no longer New Year's Eve, I promise to keep this one..

I RESOLVE:

6) NOT to write any more silly poems about making tortoises go 'vroom' (or if I do, NOT to submit them on serious Think Write challenges)

oh dear.. I really must stop rolling on the floor laughing.. my sides ache, and there's still all the butter-clusters around..

I have only one 'simple' resolution for this year: to be happy. Amazingly (or not), it never occured to me to put this on the resolutions list before. :|

Dragon

Many years ago I resolved to never make New Years Resolutions again and it's the only one I've ever kept. My cats have resolved to keep being superior life forms and to continue to bother us whenever they feel like we're not paying the proper obiesance to them.

GOLDIEGIRL8

I resolve:

Not to let Goldie jump on me.
Other, secret stuff.

Zristin

I resolve:
To say '2010' not 'two thousand ten', but 'twenty ten'. Twenty ten sounds cooler.

Baldur

I'm going to be on a diet this year

12. 2 Jan 2010 13:54

Baldur

you missed one

13. 2 Jan 2010 13:56

Zristin

Hum, if you don't mind my asking, why go on a diet? That was a stupid question.

I guess everyone can't have high metabolisms, I'm sitting here pigging on marshmallows and chocolate chip cookies.

I like the resolution of being HAPPY!

That's a good resolution. You know, I don't suppose I can remember a time when I was sad...

I'm just gonna take myself more seriously. I've been sort of a mess for a while, so any improvement should count.

pollyesther

I want to get and stay diligently organized.

I need to exercise and eat less (even if it's healthy food).
Continue my addiction (Think Draw) ;D

Certainly I need to eat less but I also want to become more organised. I've made a start by clearing out cupboards in the rooms that my New Years Eve visitors occupied. If I haven't used it in five years than I don't need it ... I took all the excess to the charity shop and feel a lot better for it. Now I can begin to see the light of day.
