Hey Dragon Ive got a question. I've got leather furniture and Mazey our kitten has scratched a few places, not on purpose just from jumping. I tried these things called Soft Paws on her nails and they worked great.....for a day:( I put on some more and they lasted for 3 days. Is there anything else I could try? I'm not to thrilled with the thought of having her declawed, but that cant be done anyway untill she is 6 months old. Any suggestions would be great! |

(Baldur always recommends using a TASER, but you didn't ask me) |

Hmmm, Soft Paws would have been my recommendation. Usually they last longer than that. I've used them on one of my cats and they lasted about 5 or 6 weeks, but he's my big pansy and he didn't bother them at all. My pest had them off pretty quickly. There's another brand called Soft Claws (I think) but I'm not sure you'd have any better luck with them than the first brand. I don't know of anything else other than keeping kitty off the couch or covering it with a throw or afgan until kitty either learns or is old enough for declawing (which I'm not entirely opposed to, but like you, would rather use a non-amputation method if possible). |

LOL!!!! I've heard that when you taser someone they often pee on themselves, so I'm affraid if I do that she will wet on the throw rug and then go back to that spot just for spite!!! |
