Who would rate a lot of the better pieces with less than a 5? It is obvious which drawings stand out from the crowd. Why would someone throw in a low score??? I personally choose not to vote unless it is something worthy of a 5. Oops, take that back, I will sometimes vote a lower score for a child's drawing as often they are just happy with a vote and worthy of recognition.

Is someone afraid to be knocked out of top 5?

I would rate better pices with less than 5, I usually do because they don't always fit my liking.

some excellent pics get a one-vote just to try to take them out of Top 5. Things have improved since we have the possibility of Favorites. I would agree to have either only 5 or at most 4 and 5 so nobody would be able to vote down incredible drawings.
I vote only 5 more than 95% of the time.

Well, Miss Maddyjean, giving a lesser score is penalizing a work of art for reasons other than the integrity of the piece. I may not like yellow cats, but I would never punish a well done work because I don't like the subject or the color. If you do not like a well executed piece, you have the option to not vote, thus not advocating the work, but also not punishing an artist because of petty issues.

Heidi, don't diss me, I live in a free country, I can do as I please and there is NOTHING you can do about it.

That picture of mine makes you jealous, that's the only reason you're saying what you are, and everyone knows it.

Well miss Maddy... I give up... You are a spoiled little snot aren't you... Until you grow up and stop acting like a peon, you have lost my support...

It is really easy to be kind... You should try it...

Matthew, most people are nice to you, you wouldn't know. I get it from expierience. It's a dog-eat-dog world, you have two choices in it. #1. Get used to it. #2. Learn how to defend yourself. I've chosen #2. You can't accomplish either choice, so why don't you end it all? Seriously.

Maddy, no one can control what your reaction will be to a comment, however you may want to note that no one wants to dis anyone on this site. We are all here to have fun and encourage and learn from each other. Take off the boxing gloves, drop a little Prozac, and just enjoy the ride. Or not, as you choose.

Maddy, what exactly do you want anyway? You come here, start as a friendly person. then you begin insulting people and deleting pictures, after that you 'need' forgiveness, then you 'don't give a crap ' about it. You make no sense at all. Get yourself together, this is just a site, not a miracle. It doesn't change lives. You shouldn't start building a life around it. It's just fun, you know...

Well, there goes another thread with the childish antics of the maddyjean show. Is there any thread left that hasn't been tarnished. Heidi brought up an issue for discussion, albeit an old one, and we are now brought back to the maddyjean, me, me me, channel. Please!!!!!!

Heidi: I'll put this on separately as to not associate a reply to your question with another topic. If you do a little research on past threads you will find a fountain of info on "low voting", one voting, the OVB, etc. There is a long history of complaints and questions about this problem and it never has been solved. People have tried different solutions, but it remains. Personally, I never give a picture less than a 5 and I always leave a comment when I vote. I go thru every picture in the gallery I missed from when I was on last (just about every day) and see what I like. It doesn't matter what artist they are (which got me in trouble because I didn't belong), what they draw, etc its just a personal thing with me. That's the thing about "art". Everyone has different tastes and personal favorites, but no "art" is bad. It may be annoying, but not bad. Hope this helps.

First off, your approaches aren't very good. Maddy didn't give a good enough apology and needs to understand the word "respect" first before coming back here ready for round a billion, and everybody else keeps giving comments that are fueling Maddy to cause more problems here on ThinkDraw.

If you can't get rid of the problem, then work around the problem, don't make the problem a bigger problem. If you are the problem, then stop being the problem! Learn to be the bigger person; coming back and seeking revenge makes you an even lesser person than you already are.

P.S. Happier comments would be nice, all the negativity is very annoying.

Sorry, Chinky, I am just.... I haven't..... I'm dealing with..... Oh, I can't tell you, you're all strangers! But I'm sorry. You know, I just want things to be right again. (oh gosh, I sound like I just broke up with you and I want to get back together) Ha ha!

Chinky you're right - happier comments are in order.
So in that spirit
Happy Holidays to everyone. I hope you all are able to celebrate with a loved one.
