My room is so basiccly bland, I can't stand it anymore! I need to liven it up, preferrably with Think Draw pictures of my favorite things. My favorite celebrity is probably....... Dr. Garovaglia (if that's how you spell it). I've always liked the designs of POKeMON and Bobby Jack. I also draw portraits of myself.

I am the awesome one... WAIT FOR IT! IDEAS!!!!!
I have a wall with my bed pressed up against it.
-I have a giant full body mirror (typical stuff)
-Last year for Christmas i asked for classroom wall maps, i have those on my walls.
- I hung up my award and all my TD favorites.
-A bunch of happy bunny posters and things like that.
-I have a few ticket stubs from chicago up
- I hung up a bunch of Christmas lights also.
-My friend made me all these little airplanes, so i have those hanging from the ceiling.
-A few art projects from elementary past
-My room is pretty much just me, make your room you!
-Oh, and i have a bulletin board
-And a bunch of pictures in a big clump on my wall

EASY!!!!
Just hang up all that you can find!!!!
The other day i found the urge to redecorate, we had to go buy a package of tacs. The package had 150, and i have almost used them all! My friends think my room is really cool!!!

pffff.... well as no one else is jumping in here, I'll give it a whirl -- didn't before this because I figured others would, and also because my ways may not suit you at all.

I don't just look for stuff to put on walls.

What I do when I can't stand a room anymore is take a few photos of it, and/or do a few sketches. These pix kind of force me to look at it differently from how I'm used to seeing it. Then, in the pix, I empty it... so I can see its "bones".

Most rooms have pretty boring bones... flat walls, flat ceiling, 90 degree corners between each pair of walls, same between the ceiling and walls (I really love high ceilings and especially tilted ones), and definitely the same for the angle between floors and walls of course (yaaawwwnnn...).

I ALWAYS look carefully at two qualities -- the room's traffic patterns and the light.

The "traffic" has to work easily (because I'm lazy) even if it might be more interesting to route myself from the door to the bed or closet by going around some chair or desk or something. But YOU might play with that for a week or two.

The light has all kinds of possibilities, depending on whether you get morning sun in the window, have an overhead chandelier or fan or wall sconces... etc

The color of the light counts big. It's affected by the paint, of course, and the fabrics... but also sunlight can change it throughout the day... or it can be reflected by mirrors or glass ornaments... or even the polished quality of furniture or wood floors.

ALL of this is going on in my mind for a while.

Eventually I start trying totally weird combinations.

I might add a board along a wall, like a Chair-Rail... to change how the weight of the mass of furniture feels...

I'm fond of adding a Picture-Rail up high, at the same level as the door and window tops or just below those by a few inches... leaving a strip of wall that can hold a mural or just an unusual tone.

Picture rails are interesting too because you can get (or make) little clips that hang on them instead of driving nails into the walls. Then you can slide those EXACTLY as far along as you want them (instead of needing to find a wall stud)... and you can hang a rope or chain down from each of those... and suspend pictures or items like doll clothes or scarves or... whatever... in a vertical stack clear down to the floor, maybe.
