So I was thinking, you know how on the forum it says the latest user, TDer's B-days, the time and the number of users? Well how about adding the number of users online now?

Perhaps a place on someone's profile page that said 'Online Now' or something. Then if you were wondering about a particular person you coud go check.

Yup, those are normal forum attributes, and kinda fun.

But the actual most useful TOOL would be a SEARCH function.

Currently the closest is just to use Google. Pretty inefficient.

TD really is a treasure-trove of wisdom and kindness along with plenty of heart-warming silliness (and yes the occasional jolting slice of malice -- tho' even that has brought out valuable responses)... but all those gems wind up getting lost in any large collection that's not search-able.

I do know how much head-achey work it is to switch from one Forum software to another, but TD has grown so strong that it really is appropriate to have a MUCH more comprehensive Forum set-up now.

Ja, Dragon, I totally agree. I want to talk to or do something with a certain user, I go to their profile. On all the other websites I'm on, it says whether the person's on or not. But here, here, it doesn't work like that and frustrates me.

Yea, I did. Also, I was thinking, maybe we should have that passwords MUST be different from the user names for security reasons. (once, I was making an account for my mom, and she said she wanted the password the same as the username. It allowed it.) So, if anyone likes this idea, 2nd,3rd,etc. the motion. I first it. (If that makes sense.)
