Okay, well this recipe is not well known anywhere else, but it's a common Hawaiian treat! We have it all the time!

Pineapple Sauce

(exact measurements of ingredients depend on taste, experimenting is half the fun! Honestly, I forgot the measurements my family uses so I just estimated. But the ingredients are right!)

Recipe: Get large bowl/cup. Add one pint pineapple juice. Mix with about a cup of apple, raspberry, or mango juice. Shake/stir well. Add a .5 cup of vinegar, and a .25 cup (or less) of olive or avocado oil. Add salt if you wish, and add spices to desire. I've been told cinnamon is yummy with this!!

You can put this on salad, rice, etc! This is a very easy recipe to use!!

Pepper Soup

4 medium size peppers chopped small pieces. Red, yellow, orange and green. I do two red, 1 orange, 1 yellow. Sometimes all red.

1 onion chopped fine

3 good celery branches chopped small pieces

2 medium size potatoes chopped small pieces( the more potato the thicker the soup)

4 cups of low-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth ( I use chicken)

1 tsp dried Thyme or to taste

Black pepper to taste

Put two to three tablespoons of oil in a soup pot (I use canola).

Put all the vegetables and stir for a few minutes. The veggies will stick at first
but keep stirring. Add the 4 cups of broth, the thyme and pepper. Stir, bring to a boil and then lower the heat a bit and cook uncovered. When the veggies are soft put a little at a time in a blender or use an immersion blender. Immersion is much easier as you don't have to transfer the blended soup to another container. Enjoy!
I make this soup once a week.

Lolla

First I did not know there was a thread for recipes ... duuuu!!!! Maybe we should put it back to life again. Secondly my husband would have loved this - I already send an e-mail to heaven, maybe he can make it for the family there. I'm going to make it forsure!!! I think it is very healthy too. The colors tells me THAT IS where you get your designing talent from!! Big love!!!

I just wonder if Rachel can move the pages from last to first - now you had to click LAST to get to the recipe. Maybe I ask to much - you see, that's what this soup is doing to your imagination .....
