In addition to painting with my mother she also sang us lullabies. Pick your favorite one from your childhood and from the lyrics put the song to canvas. If your memories fail you there are websites that feature lullaby lyrics pick your favorite and go with it. Maybe with this challenge we can also put to sleep some of the biting comments Ive seen. |

Just a funny side note to this theme. My oldest daughter Ash doesnt want me to sing her to sleep any more, and hasnt for quite a while. She prefers to sooth herself to sleep by what she calls her "Serra toons" cartoons she makes up in her head to help her fall asleep! Serra is her first name by the way. |

I don't have time to draw this lullabye right now ... if someone else does, then please draw away. I've sung this to many a child and they ALWAYS love it. It's called "Stay Awake" from the movie, "Mary Poppins." |
