Hi again,

Sorry it has taken so long to post about the new feature...

There are still changes and updates being made. For example, it is now possible to see a list of all the users who have added a picture to their favorites.

As far as the Top 5 goes, the count of favorites probably won't be used in July. But, depending on response, we do hope to use it in addition to ratings to determine the best pics in future.

Thanks for all the feedback on the feature so far, your comments are always welcome...

Cool, how do we find the list of users who've added to their favorites?
Will it be possible to be notified somehow if our own pics get added to someone's favorites?

I think it works like in the example I'm going to give you.

If you open this pic you will see KEEP IN FAVORITES and next to it an underlined number (depending on how many people included this pic in his/her favorites) next to another red heart. If you click the underlined number, you will know the person who chose this pic as his/her favorite.
Could it be like this?

No, I don't think you can have your own pictures as your favorites.
I'm only discovering that to send a message to this forum we are now asked our name and nickname.
More and more things to improve this site!!!!

Ummm, I have 6 favorites in Flowers. I thought it wouldn't let me do that.

I honestly can't see myself using this feature ... I don't think I could ever narrow it down to five ...

I just did about 200 pages starting from page one. It is hard to narrow the field but the result is well worth it.

I just looked at my favorites and there they all were; those I've always admired and never could find, those from artists who we don't see anymore, and ones form people who only ever did one or two in the first place.

As long as the site doesn't crash I'll never again have to go searching for that one pic that eludes my eye and whenever I want to look at that one technique that I'm having trouble with, oh yeah, there it is right in the spot I left it in...

I agree with LadyO about narrowing it down to five, but it's a great challenge & easier when you are dealing with a short period of time.
I am using it from June onward.
I wish I can do the same with the rest of the pictures, and this is only possible if we can see one month at a time. I know I am pushing it!

You can narrow the gallery down to a specific month now. If you go to the top there's a search parameter called "Time" and you can go to last week or last month or any month you choose.

...That is the link to my censored pic... So if you look through the gallery picking out your favorites, you will never see it...

...On the other hand... anytime it is listed in someones favorites... that is a little less it is censored...

...This pic was one of the reasons the playback feature began to be discussed... I didn't want to submit it because I so enjoyed watching it reload in the save draft feature... but finally hit the dreaded submit button and unleashed it onto the world... lol
