THIS JUST IN...... You can only add 5 pics 2 your favorites for every available month...

... I just tried 2 add a pic 2 my favorites & it told me I already had 5 pics 4 January & asked which of the 5 pics I would like 2 have replaced with my new choice...

You can see your favorites by "Most Recent" or "Highest Rated" etc. Just above the pics in your favorites is the option to sort the gallery that way. I haven't seen any way to sort by "My Personal Favorite" though. If that does become an option can we please please please please please have the option to sort our own galleries that way. (Especially the 6 pics that come up whenever someone looks at one of our works, please, pretty please, with a cherry on top and whipped cream and sprinkles)

Indeed, it's really easy to miss. I probably never would have seen it if it hadn't been for the posts here. I just don't go into my own profile very often and when I'm there I don't check that side of the screen out.

"Favorites" gave me the opportunity to put into my "private" gallery pictures that never made it to the "Top 5". So many could be missed and forgotten... I went throught the whole gallery starting from the last page and picked whatever impressed me by the skills, creativity, humor or even the age or the artist. There are few that did make it to Top 5. Some artists are long time gone and those who joined TD recently may visit my "Favorite" gallery and enjoy or even learn something. Everyone is welcome!

Correct me if I'm wrong (because I often am) but we now have the capacity to select our favourite 5 drawings in each category for any given month ... and we can't put our own in.

In early May, Rachel told us "... the next feature should be the ability to add favourite pictures to a personal gallery and/or subscribe to follow other artists contributions" ... "in time this could be incorporated into the Top 5 system to improve the choice."

By playing around with the 'favourites' button we have discovered that we can ONLY select five drawings in each category for each month. If we select a sixth drawing in one category, we are given the choice of replacing one of the previous five or leaving them as they are. Surely this is a voting system in itself. It may not overcome the manipulation but it will keep the number of votes hidden from the manipulator(s) … or make them harder to find

The one big problem is that we still can’t sort by ‘month’ … or have I missed something? Anyway, it’s another gift from TD that will keep me entertained and off the streets!

Can anyone tell me why favorites does not work for me. Also, playbacks do not work all of the time.
