I can tell because I have had some success in the showcase this month, but expect that to change soon. I can't really compete with many of the real talents on here, but maybe they just wait til the last few days to show off! LOL |

Well, as much as I secretly covet one of those Top 5 spots, I will dutifully bow to those more talented than I. But still, it's been a fun 27 days of fantasizing at the possibility! Now reality will set in as the monthly Top 5 crew starts logging in and creating some more! I can see the strategy behind it. My problem is that I'm too addicted to give it up for the first 27 days of the month! Good thing I'm just doing this for the fun of it, or I'd get depressed. LOL |

Thanks LadyO and KMKagle. It's not that I think I suck or anything, just compared to the really talented ones, I can't quite compete. But I'm ok with that. And by the way, LadyO, nice to see you back. Your sense of humor is something I've missed in your absence! |

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Login! That pic took me forEVER, so I'd love to see it win, but it's only got like 15 votes or so. My Tony the Tiger I thought was kind of disproportionate and amateur, but it got way more votes. I will be out of town from the 30th til the 9th of July, so won't even get to see the Top5 til the 10th or so! I hope I don't land in the hospital with TD withdrawal symptoms. I don't think they have meds for that yet! LOL |

Robin, I think maybe the treatment for TD withdrawal would have something to do with large doses of flower petals, gummy bear pieces, perhaps some chicken legs and pig noses. |

I never really expect my stuff to get into the top 5, I just always hope that the bickering and snide remarks won't start up again. The drama always seems to start just before top 5 is announced and then seems to subside after it's been out a while. I hope we can all keep the peace this month. (And good luck to everyone in contention for the top spots!) |

Well said, Dragon. I'm away for the end of the month (on a canal boat) so I'm scanning the gallery for any little gems that I've missed. I should be in bed by now, for an early start, so it will be a quick whizz through the gallery and stopping at anything catching my eye. See you all in July. |
