Sorry about that ... had a call from nature. Raych, would you mind taking over the driving for a while ... I'm a bit scatty brained at the moment and don't trust my own judgment. Anon, now that we are out in the countryside, we don't need the red flag anymore ... jump in but don't make the old banger bounce 'cos marg's in the boot/trunk and she may be taking another swig of the Smirnoff..

s'all right, Login.. I made sure there was two bottles, in case the first got spilt..

.. but can ya stop Qsilv poking quite so hard ??

Ma Nature's SUCH a demanding taskmaster... but now that we're out in the countryside... er.. wasn't there a forum thread on how to deal with that??

(slips a few chocolates down into the boot...)

I've found that slipping chocolates into footwear inevitably leads to problems with the laundry..

You gals are a hoot and I think perhaps not good choices for designated drivers;-)

Don't worry solo, we have two non-drinking (for this trip) drivers. We're perfectly safe and adult enough to know when to swap seats. Why are you on the running-board? Get in lass ... this may be an old banger but it doesn't need you to scoot it along ... and Qsilv, please remove your elbow from my ear!

(murmuring something 'bout ears being softer than window frames whilst one is strugging to divvy up chocolates...)

(then noting the time, yelping "yikes!" --gotta work a few hours, no doubt the loveliest scenery'll be rolling right on by. Enjoy it enough for me too, gals!)

We'll give you a nudge when there's something you musn't miss ... and we'll try to keep the noise down while your working. Who's that snoring?

Oh dear way out on this one. Just saw it tonight. Used to love brandy lime and soda until someont pointed out it was a drink just for ------ Truth be told it did not agree with me, but I say that was the lime juice . Now I drink nothing but good sweet , or rosie South African wine)

I haven't seen any civilisation for two hours ... are you sure we're on the right road?

No signs of civilization is a good thing when heading for a picnic.

Pussytini. Or... Teeny pussy (vulgar and not PG-13 but what the heck...)

The Pussytini is my favorite drink. One part vodka and one part tap water. No ice. You can make it dirty if you like

Is this, perhaps, what Pussy Galore drinks?

One of my favorite all time drinks is and old fashioned one. It can be plain or with alcohol whichever you prefer. I am not a drinker myself but on ocassion or holiday I would enjoy this recipe better than most drinks.

Whiskey Slush

2 Cups sugar
1 (12oz) can frozen lemonade
1 (12) oz can frozen orange juice
7 Cups water
2 Cups whiskey (OPTIONAL)

Simple ingredience as you can tell.

Add 2 Cups Sugar to Boiling Water. Add Frozen Lemonade and Frozen Orange Juice. Stir well to make sure all ingredience are dissolved. Let cool for 10-15 minutes then Add 2 Cups Whiskey. Mix and Freeze at least 24 hours. Mix several times to keep the mixture and alcohol from seperating.

To serve place desired amount of slush in a glass with Squirt, 7-Up, Sprite, Sierra mist, or Ginger Ale. I normally uses about 4oz slush and 4oz soda.
You can top with a Cherries, or Lemon or Lime slices if you like to dress the beverages up.

PS:
Some with add tea bags (number depend on your own preference, to desired strength) and mox the rest of the ingredence accordingly. Very subtle change but a nice optional also.

Hope if you try this you enjoy!!

I do a similar one with vodka, I don't remember adding that much or really any sugar and I always use tea.

Very refreshing in a hot ummer day!

The alcohol doesn't freeze so you always have the slush, then the fizz from the soda; it may well be the best thing ever.
