I have hesitated having a profile picture in the event that I'm stuck with it for all eternity.

Are you able to change it, or are your committed 'til death do you part?

You can change it to any picture in your personal gallery. Whenever you submit a new picture or edit an exsisting one it offers you "Make this your profile picture'. So you could change it every day if you wanted. I've changed mine 3 or 4 times. I'm not sure if you can go back to not having a profile picture at all though.

It was getting wayyyy too serious for me. However, it's always good to have reminders to put the mouse down now and again, back away from the computer, and spend some time in the real world .... take a walk in the rain, share a hotdog with a hungry-looking dog in the park, call a friend .... when I see the drama getting out of hand, I'm reminded not to spend too much time online!

Haven't tried it and I've no time just now, but betcha could go back to "empty" (the gray oval in the profile page, empty in forum) by making a simple pic, making it your profile pic, then DELETING that pic.

I always reckoned you could do that, Qsilv.. that was when I eventually picked my first profile pic. I've changed it a few times since then.. and just tested the theory : it works fine !

So LadyO - go for your life, and anytime you want to revert to no picture, just create & delete a 'quickie' !
