Marg, I need to add, it was the "Marshmallow" bunny drawing for you that went! A psychiatrist would ask me, "why in the **** would you sit up at 2:30 in the morning drawing pink bunnies?" I'd have to say "well, there was another one and I lost it", he'd say "you certainly did!" Do you think. You must always remember that bunny! |

If you go to another drawing site can you tell us where so we can still see your work? |

I hear what you are saying very clearly and have also considered, going away. I had to take time to question why I was doing this at all. It has got me back to painting and drawing for real, which is good . It has taught me either draw for the pleasure of the drawing, without need of continuous reward, or leave it alone, which is good. It has opened my eyes to a very creative and widespread group of pretty fine folks, which is good. so I am still at it, and have to say it's better than solitaire, and better than most things on TV. I get a creative break from my job and other worries that abound daily. I hope your decision is a positive one in your life . You will be sorely missed. Of course, please come on back if you feel something missing. I so much have enjoyed your creative endeavors , they always inspire me to try something new or different. |

Gwinnyb, I totally relate to what you wrote. I starting playing this because I put my spider solitaire in the recycle bin, and needed to fill the hole. TD with its creative outlet is better for me, but I need to get out of my chair and start doing more. I have thought about taking out my real brushes and paints, and actually painting something I can hang up. I need to get back to sewing and gardening and all the other creative things we do to fill up our lives. |

Take care, all of you who are taking a break. We always look forward to people coming back, if only for brief periods at a time ... so looking forward to your next drawings, somewhen. |

I've got a problem with loading a draft in flowers. I've spent over five hours on it (don't be fooled - that doesn't mean it's anywhere near as good as you guy's work) and this is the third time round.....my first two attempts were lost. |

The only thing I can suggest is that adjustments/changes are going on at TD ... and I'm guessing at that. You seem to have done just about everything that you can do ... I know several people have lost drawings using the save draft, just lately ... very frustrating ... but TD are very good at fixing things and I would be surprised if they aren't working on it right now. In the meantime, I would suggest you avoiding using the save draft. I hope you eventually recover your drawing. Good luck. |

DMarcella, I sometimes draw on Saatchi's Your Studio, under the user name Dee (fifth)... It's a rudimentary painting program, and there is no place for feedback. It also started losing pictures on submission (though one could open a new browser window and get the drawing back most of the time), so I draw much less there, too. Dropped/lost pictures may be a problem all these kinds of online sites have. It was my mistake to spend more than twenty or so minutes on a TD drawing, since for me that moved past doodling and into a real investment in the outcome of the drawing. Here's the link for Your Studio: |

That Saatchi Gallery looks like a neat one, played a little with it. Kind of like a more interesting version of paint brush. I think I'll need some practice with it before I get good. |

Happy to pass on the site. There's also http://queeky.com/draw which includes the ability to use vectors and shapes. |

five, will miss your work here! But, already have checked the other sites, and wow, very different! Its more like painting and drawing. Not so much a puzzle. Thanks! |

here's another site I just found. Again, no place for ratings and comments that I could see, but certainly gives a creative outlet. http://artpad.art.com/artpad/painter/ Another place I like is www.popularfront.com/snowdays . It is really fun to just create snowflakes and has a place for responses. Again, much different than Thinkdraw, though. |

Five, I looked at many of your drawing on the other site and they are great. I will look at them all in time. Thanks for sharing the site with us. |
