The showcase has over thirty drawings in there that don't appear to have anything to do with 'Landmarks' ... or perhaps it's just me that's not getting the connection. |

So I'm guessing we can submit anything. I checked the showcase and you seem to be correct Login. |

I could redo my pole dancer self portrait... But I would have to censor my "landmark".... |

oh it's ok matthew, landmarks aren't necessarily very large. Punxsutawney Phil's Hole comes to mind. |

Didn't Rachel use to remove unrelated pics ? .. 'cause there's no way of doing it yourself, if you realise that it shouldn't be there.. |

... It seems to me that she clears it out about once a week... |

Wow! Just went to the Showcase, and what happened?? Its confusing to look at with all the unrelated Landmark drawings! |

I think landmarks might be open to interpretation. rather than thinking of a location or place related object people may see things like weddings, graduations, bar mitzvas, and even birthdays as time related landmarks, we do have some very young TD people who may not see landmarks the same way. just a thought. I wasn't sure about nefertiti, but she was associated with a place and a dynasty. should I remove her? I don't mind if that is consensus |

I think there was a lot of confusion between the showcase subject 'Landmarks' and Baldur's topic 'Where in the world?' - so Nefertitie ISN'T a landmark, but does pose the 'where in the world' question. |

hi guys! First off, If I put anything in there that wasn't supposed to be, and annoyed anyone with that, my appologies. However, I'm VERY confused now! At first I did very specific landmarks like "canal street" or Loch Ness. Those I'd hope are obvious. Finally I created things like "third rock" (I sure hope that stays because it's the biggest landmark we know LOL), "rock climbing", "avalanche" and salmon during storm. The later three have been removed from the showcase. So far, fine, I figured they didn't NAME a specific landmark. However, in the shocase remain (and I mean NO offense to anyone) pictures such as "island life", "seashore", "*A*Mountain", "rolling hills", "california sunshine". And now I'm completely and utterly confused. How is a seashore a landmark but salmontravel isn't? "A mountain" is but rock climbing isn't. And "Avalanche".....If I'd written "skiing in the Alps" or "going down Mount Everest" instead of Avalanche, THEN would it qualify? |

Your "Brandenburg Gate" is in the middle of the 2nd page. I guess landmarks is a tough one to call. If there are any pictures you want put back, try sending a message via the feedback form and it will probably happen. |

!?!?!?!? I think I'm losing my mind! I am SURE it wasn't there when I posted this earlier..... Maybe I need new glasses? LOL |

I don't get it either kugusch... This showcase is a tough one to figure... I have "vauge" landmarks like an island... I bet the "title" has something to do with it... Get rid of the "action part of your titles perhaps... |
||

Well..to my mind, the following shouldn't be in there, regardless of how you interpret the topic : |

Brandenburg Gate is currently in the centre of page 2 of Showcase, Kugusch. I was just about to appeal on your behalf, then decided to look for it first ... success! |

Marg, the first three you show have been removed, along with some others; the rest that you posted are still there. They are "places" but not "landmarks". There are still others that are not either, and don't belong. |

...Carmon Sandiego fans will know the song "WHERE IN THE WORLD" IS CARMON SANDIEGO... and the Landmark showcase is titled "Where in the world"... So it fits... |

Yeah, ,well, as I said earlier, I think there was a lot of confusion between the showcase subject 'Landmarks' and Baldur's topic 'Where in the world?'. |
