Have you noticed that ThinkDraw nevers puts messages on the forum like they used to? Do you think they have put the site on autopilot and abandonded us?

Yep.

Luna: I've already put my foot in my mouth here. l honestly think it should noted if messages are received. You did read I e-mailed a message re the problem we're having?

I guess there's no way to find out if something is being done about this problem?

Not that I know off....
I did a quick picture and submitted it and lost it. I did another and saved it, and the save worked just fine as long as I didn't submit it.

It does appear that ThinkDraw is Rachel's alone, tho Gid Greenspan (of Websudoku) is probably closely involved.

But there is only the tiniest whisper of sponsorship (google ads) and the site's been burgeoning.

She has mentioned, briefly, that it's taken off rather far beyond her expectations.

So basically, we're her guests. And, well... we're about as manageable as a houseful of puppies.

Sure, most of us mean well, (even if a few are tough terriers in the making, and the whole place is open to unescorted children... some of whom are decidedly, um, precocious)... but the truth is, not one of us can really do more to help than bark --sometimes urgently.

Wouldn't YOU be overwhelmed?

Soooo... we could present her with prioritized input, gently, respectfully... but mostly we need to then settle down and play and chat quietly 'til dinner's on the table again... trusting her to PUT dinner on the table again as soon as she's planned it out and done the prep and cooking.

I've checked the domain... it's being hosted by a very large, very reputable company. *IF* the site's been hacked, they'll definitely help. More likely she's dealing with structural issues.

Is it possible she's really gone into hiding...??? (rueful laugh here) I'm with Autumn, from an earlier post... Feedback > not udating > #8:

.......OK, who asked for what that made rachel cut us off completely??
.......what am I spoz to do now? housework..
.......we're sorry rachel, give us back our toy, pleeeeeeeze!

Remember those fervent prayers people were all het up about sprinkling around? Why not send a few her way?

I hope someone can get word to us about what is going on soon. It would be nice to know and be updated as to things that are in the works if possible.

Good morning folks, it's a new day here in UK and obviously TD is still unwell. Thanks Qsilv for some very sound and helpful comments. The humour still abounds here and makes easy reading. Time to browse too ... ah what pleasure.

However, I am a little anxious, having spent a couple of hours on a drawing that's turned out reasonably OK but not perfect, I want to submit it ... if TD is hospitalised for some time and I can't show my picture ... well, I will throw myself on the kitchen floor and kick and shout. Then I will apologise to Rachel when she puts my dinner on the table ...

Login, login, don't despair, the computer fixer's almost here! The path is rough, a bad terrain, you shall have your site soon again! We hope.

I do think a notice could be posted, just to advise not to begin any project.
