Hi all! Ok, I'm at a complete loss. My picture "go fish" was entered into the showcase and climbed it's way to third or so spot in the showcase. It's been in it's according spot ever since I entered it, at the end when it was fresh and behind the picture with the next highest amount of votes earlier. Now I just went to the showcase and it's gone....so I went searching, and found it on page five or six. So now I'm completely lost...what made it move, and why aren't they in order anymore? I noticed this yesterday on an older showcase also...from most to least votes.....at least appearing so, and then all of a sudden halfway through it seems to start over with highest to lowest amount of votes again with a whole diff. set of pictures. Help! There MUST be some explanation?

it is in order of highest rated... so a pic with one perfect vote of 5 is listed ahead of a pic with 1 billion 5's & one 4...

... believe me when i say we have complained & requested that rating system to be done away wit...

... i am sure they will get rid of it before long...

ok, so I'm guessing that means someone voted it down...but my stars are completely filled in? Strange....and I can see why you all complain, it makes NO sense!

Put your curser on the stars and you will get the total vote and see it is no longer a 5.

If you put your curser over top of the stars, you will see your exact rating...

Sympathies, Kugusch -- I moaned too when I saw yours drop.

The real issue isn't so much the less than 5.00 rating... it's the invisibility cloak that that adds.

*IF* we could have the Search feature added to Showcase, it would resolve that whole issue by letting us choose to SORT the entries by Most Recent OR by Highest Rating OR by Most Votes.

And then voting less than 5 would have more meaning than pure exile.

Many of us got our pictures voted down in the showcase this time. I didn't expect it to happen when my picture struggled for so long just to get 4 votes though. They could just as easy voted us down with a 4 but that isn't good enough for this person they voted me down a 1, probably did the same for everyone else as well. I hope this voting system is fixed soon or gone all together.

I think there is a glitch in Showcase .there are some highly rated works followed by lower rated works, then more high rated works ... confusing, yes, but so is life!

I would really prefer if the Showcase was done like the Gallery. I'd like it if they came up in order of the most recent but give us the option to see them by highest rating or most votes.
I find I miss a lot of the new ones because they're buried at the end.
