Okay, I know that it's slower around here than most of us are used to. Maybe another Fun Tuesday type thing could bring out some more drawings.

My idea is to do some free association from one pic to another. For instance, if I make a drawing called "Freedom", another member might make a picture called "The Press", and yet another member could add to that with "Release". The free association isn't limited to just the title. It could be that you build off of the subject, color, style, or theme. That's why it is *free* association.

This is a way to keep the inspiration flowing. We can build off of each other. In fact, the first comment on those pics can be, "this is my FAF (Free Association Friday) answer to Bugoy1's 'Bla Bla' picture". Then someone else can respond to your response with something new.

Hopefully it works and we inspire each other to produce a bit more. What do you all think?

I think it's a fabulous idea! Are you going to set up a thread for it, or shall we just put it the gallery as an utterly spontaneous spree that starts and stops every Friday?

I wanted to see if there was interest first. Yes, I will start us off on this Friday. Then we would just build off of the final pic from the Friday before. So just after midnight, I will get Friday kicked off with a picture and title that hopefully someone else will jump on.

It might be fun to put them in a gallery thread too. Then you can watch the evolution from one drawing to another. I suppose starting a thread in the community forum would be best. I will do that too then.
