I found this picture http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=285#comments and would love to know why this category doesn't exist anymore, cos it looks interesting.

I think people want to know what medium was used~ candy, animal, flower, etc. It doesn't show up in any of them!

The mystery deepens~pic was created on Jun 4/08, cooldebs JOINED Jun 16/08! It has to be an import!

I just viewed all of Cooldebs pics and isolated her gallery by each Theme and all pics are accounted for except this one. It is NOT associated with any current Theme.

What I think is cool is that a) Raych found it and b) it has transluscent elements (notice the lighter blues interact where they overlap to produce a darker blue. THAT would be oh so cool!

Going through the history... All the 1st pics are in Flowers. Then between May 28, 2008 and May 30, 2008 it looks like TD introduced Faces. User Rachel has the 1st image in both Categories. Less than a week later there is a single image in this un-named category by Cooldebs. I can find no other images in that Category.

It was almost a month later (July 2, 2008) until Gothic was introduced.

My guess is there was another category.

It would have been unique to TD because of the translucent elements and might have presented some major technical difficulties in TD's final conversion from submitted, layered work to the ultimate conversion to JPG so they dropped it or - more likely - they re-worked it and it bacame Gothic.

The category was called "Tester". If you look at the Embed link on the image you can see the category name immediately following the canvases reference.

(smiles) you are sooooooo observant, AND thorough... and quick!

I yearn for transparency.

Qsilv

btw... besides going to the pic itself to see its Embed link, you can just RIGHT-click any of the small pix and LEFT-click "Properties" for the same information.

Under "Image properties" the Location line shows which palette it's made from.
