First off- I was really surprised at the response you all had to my recent gothic picture-the one that won me the last challenge.- I was sure when i was making it that it'd be one that sort of fell through the cracks, a few votes a few comments and then into the TD Gallery oblivion.
- BUT then you guys responded in a way I didn't expect.-

and so i wondered if the TD community responds to emotion- the emotion in just one picture-what would they do with many pictures, from different artists?- and what sort of beauty could come of such an experiment.

SO...
Here is your Challenge. PAIN.- whether it is good pain (think a marathon runner or young love)or bad pain(stepping on a lego in the middle of the night or loosing a loved one). physical, mental or emotional. from annoyance to agony. and anything in between.

.. and here's a bit of annoyance, or just a heads up however you see it. -I'm going on vacation, Camping with my family in the middle of nowhere.(really in the middle of a forest) either way i'll not have my computer with me so i'll not be able to encourage you or answer questions.

so I'll be around for a few days and then nothing until we get back-

The challenge will run until the 22nd of May.

This pic was done just 1 week before my husband passed away. My heart was broken and the pain was beyond description. It's not a new pic because I couldn't go back and relive that pain again.

Wow, Mdawrcn- that is perfect- heart wrenching but perfect
Hazer- such beautiful pictures, somber reminders of the pain you went through- thank you.
Midnight- fantastic- i love that series, the movie was good but the books are great.- and totally fitting the challenge
Five- your tragedy is beautiful though i must admit I'm not sure what it is- a hand? perhaps a rose?
Clo- I am unfortunately one who has much more experience with migraines than i would like- i completely understand that kind of pain- and your Picasso- impeccable

I am officially off TD till the end of the challenge- Colorado and Camping here i come(well in the morning)

If you look closely, there is a hand holding a rose, another hand at the bottom, and an upside down head... look closer and they are all connected as a costumed, twisted body/corpse of a theatrical player/clown with a broken neck.

Or at any rate, that is what I was drawing
