Has anyone noticed that one or two of their pictures do not appear on the main gallery although they remain on the profile?

What's the diff between showcase and gallery and why isn't there a help page explaining the difference?

The Showcase is made up of pictures in a specific theme- Right now it's stars sometimes it coincides with a holiday or a time of year.- it is Only for pictures that fit that theme. you may enter your picture in the showcase by clicking the 'Edit Details' under your picture and checking the 'add to stars showcase' box. Each showcase has a span of about 2-3 weeks, a picture must have been created within that time to qualify for the showcase.

The Gallery is all pictures-by everyone, so if you were to do a Star picture now and chose to enter it into the showcase it would show up in both

Hmmm...I just put out a picture, and it does not show in the Showcase, New gallery or Old gallery, so I am wondering what may have happened.

Polenta, go to "my picture gallery" at the top left and then under "show" at the right, switch the drop down menu from "my pictures" to "all pictures" and hit "go" at the far left.
