Community challenge XCIX ~ Past Tense

Hello TD-ers. This challenge refers to history scenes, thefore the name: past for what's been done, tense as a challenge on action scenes. You may also refer to other aspect as well such as customs from the past, clothes and objects use in the past, historical monuments, people who changed history with their deeds, ideas and inventions. For those who are even more bold, you may try to build up scenes from your country's history...I must admit I'd really love that since we already have beautiful galleries of portraits, but few action scenes. This being said, I wish you good luck an I look forward to see the outcome.

Time announce the winner of this challenge. We had some wonderful pics submitted to the challenge, so once again this makes my task difficult. Before passing the baton, I thought it would be interesting to post some additional history information on some of the entries:
