Thanks to Leslie-gene for passing the baton to me. I did enjoy the Shoe Challenge. It was fun! Now here's the next one and you can interpret it any way you like. It's the season for light festavals the world over and we can all celebrate something having to do with light. It doesn't have to be religious. There are many kinds of lights and many ways that we make use of light. I think ten days will be enough_that takes us to December 8/11. I'm including a help link~http://www.google.ca/search?q=lights&hl=en&prmd=imvnsl&tbm=isch&tbo=u&sour ce=univ&sa=X&ei=MfvTTtPDMsPc2gXCxdDGDw&sqi=2&ved=0CIQBELAE&biw=1440&bih =755. OMG, what happened? I might have to try that again.

Just back from switching library books and have to share a discovery - from a shelf display of seasonal stories - a picture book called WINTER LIGHTS!

It contains poems matched to brilliant quilts, some geometric, some pictorial. Gorgeous art for any who have an opportunity to find it.
By Anna Grossnickle Hines, Greenwillow Books (Harper Collins).
Certainly on Lizzi's topic!

Yikes! It's the 9th already and challenge closed last night. Only 6 people responded to the challenge...It's a busy time of year- I guess everybody is baking cookies and Xmas shopping! Thanks to the 6 who contributed - Normal, Hanging, Zydha, Mcdrawn, Clorophilla, and Karbs. You presented an interesting range of ideas on the subject. It makes it difficult to choose just one. I am caught between Bubba's Eye, and the Secret Garden. I am going to get off this uncomfortable fence and pass the baton to Mcdrawn. Maybe it's because I'm a cat-lover!

Hey Lizzi. Thanks for choosing my Bubba picture! Everyone here likes cats and I appreciate all the nice comments. I am going to need some time to try to think of something good. Hope I can. I will get back to you.
