We did this in FEB 2010, but barely scratched the surface, so I invite all TDers to another festival of illustrated quotes.
Since 2 wks out runs into American Thanksgiving, I'll choose the winner (probably as capriciously as I was chosen) on Fri 25 NOV.

An old Fun Tues (based on TO, TU, TWO) as a starter: http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=79040

Hurrah - hope to see lots of contributions. Alas, I cannot find my Bartlett's Quotations. Still have the "Complete Works," but tend to get lost in the reading instead of finding drawing ideas.

Of course, she's not giving us a quote exactly, but too pretty not to include!

Here's a remark from Romeo to define Chelydra's Juliet:

O, she doth teeach the torches to burn bright!
Her beauty hangs upon the cheek of night....

"It is the lark, the herald of the morn,
No nightingale. Look, love, what envious streaks
Do lace the severing clouds in yonder east.
Night's candles are burnt out, and jocund day
Stands tiptoe on the misty mountain tops.
I must be gone."
