Hi all,

We would love to add some shapes and a couple of backgrounds to the 'Gothic' theme.

Obviously you know best what is needed so please give your suggestions here. (If there is anyone who fancies actually making a basic shape that would also be great. The shapes need to be 180x180 .png files and could be shared on our facebook page.)

It would be great if we could have the complete rotation of the 2°,3° and 4° piece in the lower right corner; and also the vertical and horizontal rotation of the upper-left corner pieces!

I know many people will ask a white piece, but please don't, it would make things too easy!

for the background - instead of the very dark blue we have now, may we have a slighty light blue and a true black? I think also to a very different and bright colour, but not too light - for not change the nature of this palette: may be a bordeaux?

Would like to see a rust/orange and as clorophilla suggested, a light/powder blue backgrounds.

For a background maybe storm clouds.

A couple pieces of traditional stained glass -- perhaps royal blue and/or amber -- with transparency.

I like the idea of rotation. I also agree with five and Baldur. I guess we would have to lose some of the existing shapes....I don't know how the others would feel, but I'm not attached to the flowers....

Oh wonderful! Some more colours please. And I love the idea of "stained glass" pieces. For me I love Gothic for the symmetry of the pieces and don't use ones that aren't. Transparency like we get in beads would be good. And possibly more shapes in black like the arrows - for making those stained glass windows! For instance, the magenta part circles and a square would be so good if they came in black as well if we could have bright colours to play with.

... left out something: I agree that we could lose the flowers, and possibly rationalise the green pieces as well - or reduce their number in order to get other colours.

I think adding a new black piece to Gothic is a great idea.

When I just copy/paste this part, I get a page of matthew's TD drawings, the bottom two of which are a bright red and a darker red.

I see no need to turn it since every side works... Multiple colors would be awesome...the darker red, Blue, Purple, Rust, Amber, Metalic...
