We all use tools every day- in school, on the job, at home and at play. We use tools for art, music, gardening, writing, sports, hobbies, etc. For this challenge, I am not looking for bulldozers or 16-wheelers; nothing of that size. Tools that we hold in our hands, or that we operate as an individual. I have found some examples and will post them forthwith. I hope we'll have some fun with this! |

I greatly fear that this topic follows too closely on the heels of the technology showcase. This did not occur to me until yesterday when I saw how few entries there are. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. How about some really old tools? Obsolete tools? Nobody has made a toilet plunger yet. We have some kitchen tools but there are gazillions of others. Cobblers tools. Tools of the blacksmith, tinsmith, goldsmith. Et cetera. |

It is March 22, and the Tools challenge ended on the 21st, which means that I have to choose a winner. I find that I don't much care for this job! All of the entries were very good and some were quite similar. There were only nine entries. Mcdrawn's cutlery is very well done but I may not pass the baton to the one who passed it to me, so that let's her off the hook! For now. I have decided to pass the baton to Mecanc for her Barber's tools, a very nice set. Good luck, Mecanc, and thanks to everyone who participated! |
