I don't understand why Jazz topic had so few interest... I seemed to me a great theme with so many possibilities... I hope some more entry before the time will be out!

Oh dear... clorophilla, I'm sorry this challenge didn't take off for you. I agree, it was a great idea, especially with the albums showcase at the same time!

For what its worth, I did start some pics for this, but gave up on them... they just weren't working! Sorry

I hope you get some more entries too!

I though of this when I first read this challenge, but took a while to find this painting on line.

Time is up and I have to pass the baton.
Few but excellent pics are posted in this challenge:
- 2 beautiful drawing by Suzze, one of them being an oustanding portrait of Miles David I loved very much.
- a striking portrait of Billy Holiday by Arw, so close and with an amazing lettering and background;
- an intense portrait of Dianne Reeves by Hanging;
- by Vals, a gorgeous sketch of david Benoit - hot piano playing.

Yoy are all winner for me, and the top winner is Jazz itself, whose pics made so beautiful tributes.

Anyway, as Jazz sound is mainly a matter of "gut feeling" I pass the baton of LXX challenge to Vals, who conquered me with the hot "sound" of Benoit's piano.
