Baldur has been to Toronto twice, that being the furthest West I've ventured into Canada. |

Ive been in Toronto too, but only for one day. I remember the CN-tower and the restaurant there. I was invited for an original "Wiener Schnitzel", then being curious what will be served, it topped all imagination of failure by a similarity to corned beef:) This is the only memory of eating in foreign countries I am keeping for a long time. I was 25 or so, and stayed with my uncle (the brother of my father) who lives in Green Valley, Ont. I took his car and enjoyed driving through the area. Even today, when I close the eyes, I am able to see the landscape and the white cloudes, they always seemed to be far nearer to the ground then anywhere else. |

In Alberta we consider Ontario to be "Out East" but I'm pretty sure Ontarioans (?) consider themselves to be central Canada. Looking at the map they really are but I can't stop thinking of them as easterners. I wonder if they consider Saskatchewan and Manitoba (which I always think of as central) to be Western Canada. |

Here is something puzzler posted on another forum thread back in 2009. Baldur thought it was definitely worth resurrecting here. |

This is kind of a cute story, the video that accompanies it has no narration but is neat to watch anyway. |
