Not much of a drive at all, takes us about 6 or 7 minutes to get there from our current place. Of course we go nearly every day to see how things are going. Yesterday we were excited to see they'd started putting up the plywood is going up on the framed walls and the floor is in for the main level. It's truly starting to look like a house now. |

Had a funny moment this morning. My sweetie was having a shower and I heard him laughing quite hard. Turns out our kitten Simon (who is obsessed with running water) was in the bathroom with him. As usual he was up on the edge of the tub watching the water running down the shower curtain. Then he slipped and fell in. In his panic, instead of simply getting up and jumping out he flopped around in the bottom of the tub for a good minute. He was entirely soaked by the time he got himself together enough to jump out. Ahh, there's just something so cute about a bedraggled, wet kitten. |

Simon definitly does not like being in the water, this wasn't the first time he's fallen in the tub, though the other time it was being filled for a bath and was only a few inches deep. He's also fallen in the toilet mid-flush and could not move fast enough to get out of that. He doesn't seem to be remotely discouraged by these incidences though. He still walks the edge of the tub when we're in the shower and still sits on the toilet seat to watch the flush. He's quite fearless. |

Dragon, sounds like Simon is a real character! We have one cat (Speedboat) that just loves our dvd player. Every time the drawer pops out she attacks, then walks all around it trying to figure out where that drawer goes when shut...so funny, she just doesn't give up. |
