Dragon was reading my mind. I was going to ask AuntieB the same thing. Really would love to see her hat, if she has time that is. With all of her social obligations, I understand that it might not be possible.

Dragon is so right - that hat was grotesque! But having spent most of yesterday glued to the TV, what is it with those hats perched on the forehead of so many of the wedding guests? Some of them looked like satellite receivers and Victoria Beckham's was very strange - ditto the Palmer Tomkinson girl's - like an enormous bright blue beak trying to hide her nose.

But on a brighter note, the bride was so, so beautiful - so elegant and simple. And the trees in the aisle of the Abbey were a stroke of genius, with the green and white flowers - like the essence of Spring. It was a beautiful occasion.
