Dear Hazer,courage, you both are inspirational. You are always in my prayers. The Lord is having his light shine upon you two. You both are a clear example of hope in suffering dears. He has both your names inscribed at the palm of His Hands. He will never desert you. You can Understand what I am feeling ,regarding my sister. She bought the dress for her daughter's wedding. I hope she will wear it on the day in June. Always in my thoughts and prayers.xx |

Thank you all. Your kind words encourage and give me strength! My husband has survived this past hospital stay and I was able to bring him home last week Thursday. I am amazed at what all the human body can endure as time and time again my husband has surpassed the doctors expectations. We managed to get a couple of trips out to the acreage between hospital stays. The last hospital stay was due to infection from the previous drain that they were unable to remove. I brought him home from the hospital last Thursday. This time he is considered palliative. He has a drain in his left lung, is on oxygen and strong antibiotics. Home care is coming in three times a week to drain his lung, which although painful, makes breathing easier for a couple of days. I am in charge of changing dressings, administering his many medications and persuading him to try and eat when he has no appetite. It's a full time job.I am hoping to have him stabilized enough to make the trip back to the acreage next Wed. We hope to stay there until God takes him home. He still plans a party for the 5th. |

The courage of you two just leaves me gobsmacked, Hazer. I have had to watch two family members leave this world under palliative care. It is daunting. Can I feel smaller and more helpless at any other time? Blessings on both of you. |
