Luna's last pic was clear back in march...I miss her work. I looked at her website and she has some absolutely beautiful new work, with a few having copies here. anyway happy birthday Luna.

My apologies Baldur - found your wonderful Channel Baldur fairly recently and didn't realise I was treading on old issues. Suffice it to say, you come across as a very wise bird.

This artist is amazing! Some of the pictures I had to really search to find him. Scroll through the pics and see for yourself.

Dragon the pics are fantastic! Can't imagine holding still that long, or coming across him 'being invisible' in real life!!!

Baldur

That was truly amazing.

What patience and skill he has. I can't imagine how he works it all out.

Liu Bolin was fascinating, Dragon! But the real talent must be with his two anonymous sidekicks who actually paint him into the scene. Thanks for the link.

8553. 5 Feb 2011 11:03

Lizzi

Thanks for that link, Dragon! Interesting, but I agree with Login...his assistants do all the painting! He is only the canvas...perhaps he's the one with the money? Would this be a money-making occupation? If not, it's an expensive hobby!

8554. 5 Feb 2011 11:04

Lizzi

Sorry,Normal!!! It's you I am agreeing with!

8555. 5 Feb 2011 11:11

Dragon

True, perhaps we could call him a performance artist and his assistants the art artists.

Happy birthday Don Cherry, I'm sure someone will give you a really ugly jacket for your birthday, I'm sure that would make you smile.

Baldur, I'm using your channel to show something about Uruguayan Carnival.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tquP4yck_cc&feature=related

and here's my picture as a tribute to all the drummers or "tamborileros" ,pros or lots of amateurs, who crowd our streets and Carnival's street stages.
http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=132263

Thank you Baldur.

8559. 7 Feb 2011 02:48

Baldur

Thank you polenta, that was fun to watch.
That was done on a stage, not part of what was going on in the streets at Carnival.
Sometimes the random crowds in the street provide great entertainment too. Especially when amateurs attempt the same dances.
