And of course the drunk-intellectual-internet comment was a compliment. I've been known to be a drunk intellectual on the internet many times myself. I try not to drink and post anymore, though.

But I have to Asian friends who bothi independently taught me that TLA (three-letter-acronym). I love me a good TLA.

Sometimes I get a little mad and that's the worst parts - posting then I mean.

But - and this ain't no pat on the back or nuthin - but's I gotta say - ALL (and I mean ALL) of my best stuff has been written while high.

Poetry I tend to write well while high...but it's been a long time since I've really written any poetry. I feel like my screen name is a lie now.

Anotherronism. I understand the discipline factor. TD is limited to all fruit slices or all candy pieces and you can turn them or make them smaller or larger. Would anyone play if the number of individual spots was limited to exactly 400 - no more, no less? It would clog up the creative process in many. You wouldn't see a whole lot of artwork on here.

The writing restrictions you're talking about have to do with medical journals and newspaper reporting. Even they don't demand an exact word count. Opinion Letters to the Editor often say they will consider comments under 250 words first.

We've all proven that we CAN stick to an exact word count, but where on Earth is that actually demanded?
