Using wooden spoons instead of metal ones helps keep from scratching your pots and pans. I suspect Baldur never uses Teflon (really none of us should) but they are especially bad for being damaged by the wrong utensils. Teflon gives off some kind of horrible chemical when it is damaged, actually I think it might give it off all the time but is even worse when damaged. |

I'm not sure if they still actually make teflon cookware anymore but I'm sure there are lots of people hanging on to old ones out there. I know I had one that was in terrible shape until not too long ago when I heard about how bad it was for you and then got newer cookware. |

my surprise came because of the number of spoons not the material. You said TWO. Why two and not one. I use ONE and wood is OK with me because it's not a good conductor of heat and therefore I don't burn my fingers. LOL |

When stirfrying ingredients try using two spoons to toss and stir the ingedients. The motion is similar to tossing a salad to distribute the dressing. This was how I had learned to do it years ago. |
