Just love your version of them, Q! Here's an article about the lovely pants: http://www.chroniclejournal.com/CP_stories.php?id=243893

They did indeed wear them through the whole tournament including the Gold medal game. We Canadians were very happy to be able to say "We pulled down the Pants".

It probably felt great for her to write that and get it off her chest.
It probably felt wonderful to write that.

Her mother-in-law however pales in comparison to mine.
Though mine has been dead for many years now.

Her name wa Mildred but everyone was supposed to cal her 'Chickie', I could never get that out of my mouth.
Especially since her husband Richard was popularly called 'Dickie'.
Poor Richard, what hell his life must have been.
Anyway Mildred passed away several years after Baldur and Mrs Baldur separated.
Imagine my surprise when Richard calls and asks me to be a pallbearer.
The family was and is still rather huge. There was no lack of able bodied cousins, nephews, nieces and whatnots who could have been perfectly good pallbearers.
Very odd.
Anyway I agreed and another one of Mildred's son in laws was across the casket from me. We understood each other better than any other 2 people there so we saw that Mildred had a bumpy ride anywhere that we had to lug her.

Baldur was horribly disappointed at the end of the graveside part of the service that it wasn't intended to shovel the dirt back into the grave while we were all there.
We were supposed to gather at some function hall for coffee and whatever.
I wanted to make sure she was buried if I had to stand there all day. I even volunteered to fill the hole personally if they'd hand me a shovel. It was not to be.
I did grab a big clod of loam and plopped it square on top of the lid before leaving

Am I the only person who had a lovable mother-in-law? She really was a kind, warm, good-humoured person.

We're due for at least a spitting of snow here at sea level in Virginia, too. It's been a crazy winter.

No Login, you're not alone. My mother-in-law is one of the nicest women I know. I often hear people complain about their in-laws and I realize that I am so blessed!

Way up north in Alberta the weather has been warm and the snowbanks are rapidly shrinking. All of the neighborhood snowmen, who once stood tall and proud, are now shriveled and deformed.
Today we were shrouded in fog and tomorrows forecast promises more of the same.

I'm with Login and Hazer--my mother-in-law is a neat lady, who is 92 now.

I'm not married but my boyfriends mom is a treat. She's one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. In fact I quite enjoy his whole family.

I am struggling to stay here on ThinkDraw, the technical problems have been getting worse and worse.
Baldur suspects part of the issue is connect through AOL, but not all of it.
Other AOL users that I've conversed with are not having the same extreme problems.
Right at this moment this site is being accesed through Internet Explorer. an improvement, but the 'Draw' page does not open. I get the frame around it but none of the categories load, the central screen remains blank with a tiny red x in the corner.

Robert, who owns the computer I use is not having anywhere the near severity of issues that I'm finding. He does nothing with any interactive sites, so perhaps that is the reason

is connect +that I = is that I connect

6556. 3 Mar 2010 11:35

Hazer

Sorry to hear that Baldur. Have you tried Mozilla Firefox? A free download that has greatly improved my computer experience!

6557. 3 Mar 2010 12:18

Baldur

Thank you Hazer, I will mention it to Robert. I don't mess with it's operation myself

I'm not terribly technical Baldur, but might it be that your flash player needs updating?

Here's the link to the one which makes my TD pics work.

matthew has also mentioned the flashplayer, I will inquire about it with Robert.
As I said I don't mess with his computer and he isn't having a problem with it, so I'm rather stuck.
