Qsilv, if you go back in my gallery and look at my pic of Kit & Ginger, that's the postage stamp pic of those big girls! They are so evenly matched it's hard to tell them apart. They are gentle giants and I got a chance to "test drive" them briefly when we bought them, but I can tell it's going to be tricky to get the reins away from hubby! Unfortunately for me I am too short to be able to harness them so I'm thinking I'll be the one waving at passers by from the comfort of a straw bale on the hay rack! I also plan to spend a lot of time grooming, petting and feeding them...spoiling them rotten in other words! They are very photogenic as well, so that will be another fun pastime.
Once we have moved and are established, we plan to offer hay and sleigh rides in our local community. Fun times!

Uhhhh Dragon...they obviously aren't keeping you busy enough at work!
My hubby should be stopping in your fair city for lunch right now. Is it as beautiful with hoar frost there as it is here? Winter Wonderland!!

Every tree and chainlink fence is just covered in hoar frost. It is terribly beautiful but I miss the sun.

The sun is peeking out here which makes everything brilliantly white! But it still does look foggy off in your direction...
Have a great day!

LOL.... adorable... and Puzzler's right: "Fred & Ginger"!
I wish you all the best on a B&B. Sounds like a lot of work but what a wonderful lifestyle!

Thanks Q.....being a girl she might not mind being called Winnifred....but it just doesn't have the same ring to it as Fred & Ginger!....Oh well. When they have their colts, at least we get to name them! So I'll be asking for suggestions.

Well, finally the sky is blue, the sun is shining, the hoar frost is sparkling. It is truly a beautiful day here in Red Deer. It's still pretty cold out but having the sun out sure helps to make it just feel nicer. Now if only my windows weren't still completly frosted over I'd be able to see my beads sparkling too. Oh well, I'll take what I can get, and since I've been begging for sun I'll then I'm doing alright.

It's been a while since we've had a musical moment on Channel Baldur and I'm feeling patriotic what with the Olympics being here on my home soil at the end of the week. I thought I'd play a lovely little hockey song for you.

I just heard a great story and I had to share it.
One of our clients was just in and was telling me about what happened to her recently. She had been in and out of the hospital for surgery several times in the last few months and was starting to feel very depressed. Her husband kept bringing her Lotto scratch tickets to raise her spirits. She was actually getting a little sick of them but didn't have the heart to tell him so she just sort of let them build up. So one day she figures 'Well I may as well scratch these things'. She could hardly believe it when she one a big one, she rushed down to the little store in the hospital (presumably still in her hospital garb) and caught them just before they closed. They confirmed that she had won $25,000! That seemed to do the trick for her depression. When she called her husband to tell him he kept thinking she was saying she won $25 dollars, it took her telling him a couple times before it sank in for him.

Thanks for the chuckle, re: hockey song, and for the lotto story. Good for her!

Dragon, loved the hockey song and the $$$ story too! Both made me smile, esp the hockey song cause you know ... marius does not quite get sports but that doesn't mean there's no appreciation for how crazy and fun loving people get about sports! Most entertaining!

I'm feeling the need for a little word game. Here's one from my Mensa calandar.

Insert two different pairs of letters into the blanks in each row to form two common, uncapitalized English words. No answers are plurals.

1. CAU_ _ CAU_ _
2. PLI_ _ T PLI_ _ T
3. DEST_ _ Y DEST_ _ Y
4. E_ _ ESS E_ _ ESS
5. S_ _ RTEN S_ _ RTEN
6. AMP_ _ E AMP_ _ E

I'll post the answers on Baldurs Answer Channel. Have fun.
