marius thinks marius might have come across too serious about Canada vs Candian geese ... but didn't think sheftali did at all! In fact, couldn't find anywhere where sheftali talked about the two.

So, yep ... all having fun. ; )

I don't have any problems with Canadians, but I really hate those people from Canada...

Lol matthew!

Someone sent this to me. If it doesn't work you can google Steve Hartman, kittens for lunch. It's about "mother of the year" from last Mother's Day.

lol... We had a cat that miscarried her litter... Then proceeded to carry our other large cat around by the scruff insisting on mothering him... It was quite a sight to behold...

I've bee playing that version on the AARP site for months matthew.
Occasionally the daily high score will be something like 85,000 which boggles me. The system only lets you play 3 games of ascending difficulty.
When I get through 3 games successfully in the allotted time the highest score that I can seem to get is barely 35,000. I assume there are bonus points for being even faster, but how fast can one be?

If you match the same piece 2 or 3 times in a row, you get bonus points... Add that to your speed... You will be over 100k in no time...

To have any chance of completing all 3 rounds you must devote no more than 60 seconds to the first round and no more than 120 seconds to round two.
Try to save every second you can because the last round is usually more complex. Rotating the structure wastes a lot of time, even though it doesn't look like it would matter. Using the shuffle feature is also to be avoided unless you are at the end of a puzzle and there is a trapped piece that cannot be removed.
It's a fun game.

There's never more than 3 pairs of a piece visible at a time , I do try following patterns.
Baldur just isn't as good at it as you.

You don't happen to be here because you noticed the comment-o-meter is about to roll over to 6000?

Letter bag time!

Dear Auntie B,
Let me first say how much the programming has improved on Radio Baldur since you made your first appearance. You have added wit, charm and timeless beauty to what was a ragtag, slipshod operation.
Here is my question:
I am a divorcee in my early 40's. Since my marriage ended disastrously my main preoccupation is not repeating the same mistakes with any future suitors. Because of this I have perhaps been overly choosy and have not been dating.
For every man that comes along I will dig until some small fault appears and use that as an excuse to steer clear of him.
Life is rapidly becoming very lonely.
How do I move on ?

Gentlest Listener,
How terrible; but face it ... Mr Perfect aint out there.
When dealing with men you need to lower your sights somewhat.
Think of what your needs are and then find someone to fill each on a one by one basis.
You need an escort for the evening?
Just find someone attractive that won't bore you to tears.
You need that pair of diamond clip-on earrings from Tiffany's Christmas window display?
Find a man with money, don't give a thought about age, looks or dreadful table manners.
For every situation it is easy enough to find a man that will 'do'.

If you keep the mindset that men are disposable you will be able to move on easily.
At some point in your dating a certain someone will seem to return to the top of the list repeatedly. Keep track of him.
If you can't snare him into marriage, there is the time honored tradition of becoming his mistress. Believe Auntie 'Option B' can definitely be the smarter choice.
Remember to maintain your figure, your charm, social skills and always be a good housekeeper.
If a gentleman gives you a house, whether married to you or not, remember to keep it when the relationship ends.
Don't let a flash of anger obscure your long term happiness.

It's usually the case that when you are involved with one gentleman, Mr Perfect will arrive. If possible keep both.
Do get back to me with how things work out because Auntie B really does care.

While our regular host is 'detained' let Auntie B tell you all what a wonderful January it has been for me.
ThinkDraw has given me an outlet that I never knew was missing from my life. You have all been quite kind to your Auntie and have made me feel like I've been part of this family from the very beginning.
As Diego gives me my evening footrub it's nice to sit back and share experiences with all of my wonderful e-friends.
My one wish is that you all walk away feeling enriched by our shared chats.

AuntieB I have a question! Just how many men do you have at your disposal? And how many are to many for a young woman to have?

Can you believe that we are already at 300 pages of fascinating conversation (the occasional comment by matthew notwithstanding)
Very soon we will also hit the 6000 comment mark.
It's amazing how time flies.

Auntie B, you remind me of a good saying,
Every woman needs:
A tiger in the bedroom
A Jaguar in the driveway
A mink on her shoulders
and A jackass to pay for it all.
