Arw65

Mine is pretty simple- ARW- my initials, Ashley Rae W*****. and the 65 is the number assigned to my initials to signify that I was the 65th person with my initials at NAU to get an email address.- When i made the account here on Thinkdraw I assumed (and we know all about assuming) that I wouldn't stay long- and therefore it didn't matter what my account name was.- Now i wish I'd used a different name.

Normal

My, this IS interesting. Normal is the town I live in, though a guard at Heathrow once claimed I made that up! Town is named for the state university, which, when my parents both attended, was Illinois State Normal University - a teachers' college. They met teaching HS here and I was born here, but grew up from age 1 in South Cook County, not far from Chicago. They retired here and I returned to be with my dad once he became an elderly widow. Having lived 3 places in Germany, in Warsaw, in DC & Montreal, it seemed good enough to stay after Dad died.

morshy

morshy is a bastardisation of my surname. Some Irish guys I played rugby with at uni couldn't be bothered saying my surname, so they shortened it, and then added a "y".

I don't do much painting or drawing. In fairness, I came on here for the writing. But it's a great site. And an interesting topic.

And malini, sorry to hear about your travails, but glad to hear you've done something about it and are living life to its fullest now. Take care and all the very best.

GingerNinja

GingerNinja speaks for itself. It is an inside joke that I have with my friends. Because in my school picture my friend said I was a Ginger. The ninja comes from when my friends and I created a dance to the song, 'Kung Fu Fighting'. Thus the name GingerNinja was born! hahahaha....yeah, my friends seriously call me 'GingerNinja' or 'Ginger'...haha

chelydra

Mine is short for Chelydra Serpentina Serpentina, my scientific name, which I adapted circa 1970-71 after my father convinced me the heirs of Sherwin Cody would sue me for using his name (and his photo) for my astrology column in Rat Subterranean News. I also served as Poultry Editor at Rat; Chelydra Serpentina Serpentina is possibly the world's most efficient poultry editor (deleting entire rows of ducklings in one nibble), so it seemed to be an appropriate 'nom de guerre'.

Nylecoj

Nylecoj is simply my name backwards, Jocelyn. I have used Nylecoj as a user name since I started using the computer, but I think it came from a shirt I had when I was little with my name on it. The printing was messed up and it got flipped, and read backwards!

If I could change my name on here I would probably make it Mossrock.

GingerNinja

If I could change my name on here, it would be something Doctor Who related...
