Actually ... CQKFOTATUM might be misspelled, in which case only one vowel is used for an 'n.'

Hmmm... remember, I'm dyslexic. Maybe it should be spelled CQKFOTATAM?

Okay, Sheftali has finally deciphered the cryptogram. However, she does not have the answer to the question posed in the cryptogram. Hmmm...who could it be???

Baldur

I'm glad someone got it, sorry about the typo.

It's times like this when I hate that I work weekends. Of course the weekend is when most people have some down time to create and play online cryptograms and games. But alas, all I do is work and sleep. So I come here to the answer channel and eagerly await someone else's brilliance to shine through. Maybe these hints will help me solve it quickly, since I only have a few minutes.

On a bright note, though, I took Monday off in anticipation of my good friend's visit from Buffalo this week. So although yesterday was my monday, today is my FRIDAY!! And this thursday I am hostessing an early Thanksgiving dinner at my place. Be here by 3:30, and don't worry about bringing anything. Unless you'd like to bring a bottle of wine.

Got the answer, but I already KNEW the answer, even before I solved the cryptogram, if you know what I mean!

51. 20 Nov 2009 14:52

Thank you Baldur, I did indeed mean FVJEQRT.

Hint to marius' Nov. 23 cryptogram:
"Dragon does not translate to Baldur, but might to some other name." : )

Dragon, the scene of the crime instead of the crime scene. I love semantics!

Robin, love your trophy! Thanks! You could enter it and then she'd have two awards. Longest User Name Award? I don't know. Up to you. (giggle)

Baldur

Well Baldur finally solved it, you can see my entry where you requested.
Very sneaky of you by the way, one of the letters remains unchanged.

I was thinking Fencing might be the sport in number 1. Once someone's been stabbed, the winner is obvious.

Also, I have only ever seen Niagara spelled this way, never Niagra. That looks too much like Viagra. I lived about 10 miles from Niagara Falls for the first 29 years of my life, so I might have a spelling advantage here.
