If someone wants to begin an anti-anti-pro-anti-pro-pro polenta club, also feel free to do so.
I'm serious.

Can anybody tell me how to get the whole bloody cat or pig or other animal on a picture, because all my animals seem to be missing a few parts. Am I not using it correctly?

It's just like being back in high school, but harder to tell the cheerleaders from the chess club

I can't shnuggie. I've never done it. Sorry

schnuggie, There are no complete animals ... only parts of them. Carry on as you are in using the parts to represent other things.

Thanks login, I've tried, but I think I will leave the animals for the more gifted Think Drawers. I'm terrible at it!

Animals is fun and it does take some work but you get a bit addicted onceyou work with it for a while. One thing that you may find useful in the medium is to use the pieces as small as you can, it takes more time but you can manipulate the drawing into something really special; you can do things in animals that just can't happen in other mediums...

I find Candy difficult myself and Avitars is just there to make fun of me;-)

Keep drawing, when you get an idea for animals try it out. Keep working until you get what you want and you WILL get it.

How fitting that this thread is turning into a class room...

Matthew, who organizes the anti-matthew Club? I think it's yourself. Do you have many fans in this club? I've tried my own club but nobody cared. I'm feeling a bit jealous. You are a lucky guy because you have your own club... I'm nobody.... sob
Matthew, I warn you, if you don't continue with your classes, there's going to be a revolution against you in this school, dear teacher.

I hope to soon... I currently have issues in my life that are causing difficulties...

Hey, Baldur - what's with the negative vibes, man - this isn't like you ??

Matthew's well enough loved, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say - if there's a few people that want to have a go at someone, there's also a few thousand current TDers that just want to enjoy the community we've got here.

I'm into joining the P-cubed Club, though - pro pro pro Polenta !
(dang.. that's 4 P's - somebody get me a log table)

Baldur

Hello marg. that's why I added this thread, so we don't have to read the negative stuff about matthew in all the other posts. I was getting tired of its rearing it's ugly head all over the place.
Baldur figured if he gave it a home location those anti-matthew zealots could play here, in their own sandbox as it were.

polenta, I've just been trying to work out the "anti-anti-pro-anti-pro-pro" to figure out which side I would be on if I joined. I could go with marg's 4P's, though.

I'm a little confused myself too. Must be so much drawing.
Baldur or Matthew must know. In Don Quixote, the main character says to his servant Sanch the famous:
"LADRAN SANCHO, SEÑAL QUE CABALGAMOS"(They are barking Sancho, that's a sign that we are riding) Does someone understand this? Please explain.

How bout PRETTY PLEASING PICTURES for POLENTA?

58. 20 Aug 2009 18:10

Baldur

Polenta,
I haven't read that book in 30+ years but what I remember is that Don Quixote imagined all of his adventures.
His horse was quite old and could barely walk, Sancho Panza rode an old mule. When they wandered past a house and the dogs started barking at them he imagined it to mean they were riding at great speed.

It's been a long time, Baldur may be incorrect

Baldur

matthew, have you paid a bunch of people off, or worse?
Where's all the a-m sentiment lately?
It seems unlikely that they have repented.

Baldur.. I'm still getting those negative vibes, man..
